Name: Aelly Ssyn
Religion: Assassin of the Callidus Temple
Age: 24
Physical Description: Aelly has snow white hair which she most often keeps in a ponytail and reaches down between her shoulder blades. She has ice blue eyes and her skin has a fair complection. She stands 5'9" tall and she has a very toned body from her training.
Mental Description: She is a calculating killer and she kills by any means so long as the job gets done. Aelly is very devoted to the Emperor and the Imperium. She is constantly on the look out for the mutant, the heretic and all other enemies of the Imperium.
Weapons: A C'Tan Phase sword (the blade of the Phase Sword is unusual in its ability to phase in and out of real-space by molecular realignment, so it is capable of bypassing armor and protective fields) on her right forearm , Neural Shredder is of unknown origin, although some speculate that it is but one of a range of psychic weapons developed by the Adeptus Astra Telepathica, grenades and poisoned blades.
Clothes/Armour: Standard Callidus Temple armor.
Equipment: Polymorphine drugs, voice synthesizer and cameoline cloak.
Skills: Infiltration, stealth and close quarters combat.
Goals: To eradicate the enemies of the Imperium.

You don't leave the Assassinorum. Because every agent is brainwashed. And because THEY'D KILL YOU.

Anything is possible in the 41st Millenuim. Besides this is pretend. Do we REALLY have to follow every single rule to the letter? Can't a few be bent to make things more interesting?

Well, yeah, sure, if I could see any way to work a genetically modified, super-enhanced ex-member of one of the most elite organisations in the Imperium into a normal, sane RP, yeah. Hell, even if you'd explained it, perhaps, yeah. But you didn't, and I can't, so no.

I did so give a brief back ground. Anaris you need to calm down dude. You aren't in charge here and you shouldn't critisize other people and their ideas. This is all for fun. SO let peopel have fun.

First: When I say 'explained', aelly, I mean actually explained why and how she got out. Not just said "she became disillusioned". If there was a full explanation in there, I wouldn't mind and it'd make the character a lot better, quite aside from the fluff points.
Second: I'm not angry.
Thirdly: Oh, I'm sorry, I guess I should stop having an opinion because I'm not in charge?
Fourth: With regards to having fun. I think it would be quite fun to enter into this planned Imperial Guard RP with a daemon-possessed Primaris Psyker capable of sinking continents, but that would be unbalanced. I think it would be quite fun to enter into this planned Imperial Guard RP with a talking broomstick called Peeves, but they don't exist in the 40k universe. If I can control my desire, can't you?

Alright, well, let's all cool down.
Anaris, fluffwise you're correct, but in the future instead of just saying this wouldn't happen also try to offer some advice on potential changes to make the character work with the fluff and the image the character's creator has in mind. Or addendums to it. I agree that once you're an assassin you're not really liable to leave the assassin temple, alive with a few minor exceptions, but she could be working with an Inquisitor or isolated because of a warp storm. Possible, albeit not likely, she could have suffered partial memory loss during a rejuv process. And while assassins are indoctrinated, I don't think it's beyond the GW IP (as malleable as it is) for one among many to stray from the path and become disillusioned with the Imperium; however, if that occured that person would become a target for Imperial assassins.
And if something just won't work, then it's fine to say so, but if you can give any advice or encouragement with the words, "It won't work," it's generally taken better than if you just reply with negative criticism.
Let's all just calm down and have fun. Anaris was just trying to help you Aelly, and Aelly wasn't trying to be scathing, Anaris.

Thank you Ilairon. I agree that if there is some advice to be offered other than just saying no I'd greatly appreciate it. I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers.

Neither did I.
Anaris Rule Number One: I don't ever mean it. In this case, it's just because I was in a hurry and being mean is easier than being nice.
And Ilairon just gave me an idea about a character whose life and RP plotlines keep getting interrupted by assassins showing up and trying to murder them, which would be interesting.
However, I'd like to say, Il, that those reasons you gave are the sort of thing I was talking about when I said 'explain'.

OK so could you please share your idea Anaris? Also, are we all in one RP? What kind of characters are being allowed anyways? Can we make things interesting by having Eldar or something else in the RP too?
