"OK men we have a situation in the archive building on 33rd. There is an unknown amount of intruders digging through archives on sub level 2, so I want Krasky to go up on the roof of the warehouse across the street to keep us updated on anyone who comes wandering by. You two will come with me." Everyone nodded, they all had a lot of respect for there leader he had earned it. Each trooper had a lasgun except Dimitry who had his bolt pistols in his shoulder holster (A rare gift from the Governor to reward Dimitry's loyalty).
The armored car came to a halt outside the Archive building. "OK men, MOVE OUT!!" Dimitry's small squad moved quickly towards the main door while Krasky went towards the warehouse. Walking through the main doors of the Archive a guard came over to Dimitry. "No ones aloud in here we have a situation!" the guard spat. "You will have a situation with your boss if you don't cooperate." Dimitry said coolly as he handed over his ID. "Sorry S..S ir!", the guard stuttered, "The intruders are on sub-level 2 take the elevator. Dimitry and his men got into the elevator and pushed the button, just as the doors closed he heard Krasky's voice on the radio "Sir ....situation.....lone man ..... door" "Say again Krasky your breaking up." Nothing dam walls were blocking the radio signals. Oh well, Dimitry thought as the doors opened there was work to do.

Zal turned a street to see the archive building. "Heheh.. Hey Ko! Let's have some fun!" The kroot agreed and they walked over to the armored car and popped the tires. They both armed weapons and walked aimlessly into the large building.

OOC: ok gonna intrude here as I did say that as well as dogs guys, there would be the local Adeptus Arbites. I presume the lone man is Adamers char. so I’m just making it harder for Luy22 to get in than just strolling in
As the human and kroot entered the large building a huge light illuminated them from behind, there was the sudden sound of tyres on gravel screeching to a halt.
"OK FREEZE!!" shouted a voice on a loud speaker, “THIS IS THE REGELIS III ADEPTUS ARBITES LOWER YOUR WEAPONS! PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD AND LIE FACE DOWN...BEFORE WE PUT YOU DOWN!"
There was the sound of 2 more cars arriving and the thump of boots on the ground as the Arbites deployed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cavek poured over the compute screen the data scrolling across it at impossible speeds. "How long till the download is complete?" asked Jebediah.
"A few more minuets," replied Cavek glancing at the data pad plugged into the side of the console.
Suddenly outside and several floors below there was the sound of screeching tyres and a bang as the front doors were blown open.
"WE'VE GOT COMPANY!!" shouted Jebediah resting his shotgun on a shelf and aiming at the lift door, “HURRY IT UP!!"
Cavek drummed his fingers against the work surface, each second seemed to last an hour. Then there was the screech of the elevator getting closer...closer...the breaks turned on slowing is rise...the timer ticked down...1 minute....59....58...
Jebediah watched the lift doors open seeing it full of men he opened fire, the men inside jumping for cover. Quickly Jebediah darted away from his position towards Cavek, the high stacks providing ample cover. The men from the lift opened fire, the place were he'd just been standing being filled with hot lasers and shrapnel as the surrounding area was chipped and scorched. Reaching Cavek he looked over his shoulder ready for pursuit.
"Time to go" said Jebediah, when suddenly Cavek pulled him down below the work surface as the console screen exploded in a shower of sparks and glass. Quickly they both returned fire releasing 2 shots each from their shotguns.
"Yes time to go." agreed Cavek, who fired another round towards whomever it was who had taken cover at the end of the row. Grabbing the data pad, whether the information inside was complete or not he didn’t know, he and Jebediah sprinted for the way they had come in. Firing off shots at there pursuers. Thundering down the dimly lit stairs they had to watch their step or else go rolling down atop on another. Slamming the access door shut behind them Cavek pointed the muzzle of the shotgun at the key pad and fired destroying it.
"That'll slow them down." said Cavek, picking up the lantern he had left when they arrived, Jebediah did the same. Quickly they sped off hoping they could get enough distance between them and whoever had come up in the lift.

Zal complied and laid down with his hands on the back on his head. Ko'to, however, armed his rifle and turned and fired at one of the arbites, sending one down but soon he was killed. "Damned xenos!" An arbite spat at the corpse. "Sir, shoould we take this one in for questioning?"

Steed booted one of the guards in the face with his a large foot, his nose spurting blood as his head snapped back and he fell. Speedily the large man ducked back behind another crate and saw only one other man at the other end of the warehouse roof, the bodies of more Adeptus Arbites bodies lay strewn in the space between the two.
“Who are you?” The Inquisitor bellowed to the other man, he knew it would be one of the governor’s men no doubt, why did they always have to interfere with Inquisition business! He was not sure whether the man would shout back, but he did.
“My name is Krasky and you are under arrest my friend, lay down your arms and step out where I can see you”
It would have all been so simple; he had stridden through the sewers and came out beside the warehouse where he had proceeded to infiltrate the structure on his way to the archives. Then it had all gone to the Grox dung when some Adeptus Arbites began checking him for weapons and opened fire.
“Don’t be a fool man…back away now and don’t come back here” another lasgun shot impacted onto into the box next to the Inquisitor who didn’t even flinch. He slowly emerged from behind the crate, going from a half-crouch to his full height, taking long strides forward as he did so with the las shots flickering round him.
Calmly he flicked the safety latch off his commandeered Arbites shotgun, taking steady aim with one arm as he walked into the maelstrom of shots whizzing past him, with a squeeze of the trigger a hail of solid shot was sent smashing into Krasky’s small barricade of crates, the man ducking as buck-pellet impacted on wood.
By the time he stood up again, it was too late; Steed was already directly in front of the large crate. He kicked the box forward, taking Krasky’s legs from beneath him, the governor’s guard falling forward. “Lights out boy…” a shotgun butt smashed into the fallen mans face and he knew no more.
Now it would seem the chase was on once more, the immense man jogged over to a ladder and slid to the ground level, his boots slamming onto the floor with a thud. He turned and peered at his surroundings, more Arbites would arrive any moment and he had to get out of here before they did.
Opening up the hatch, he sloshed into the sewer system once more, heading back to his hab-unit where Gahrek should be waiting with his equipment.

Zal got up and looked around at the armored cars, the building in front, and the bodies of the arbites at his feet. He saw Ko'Tu, laying dead at his feet. "Poor mate..." Zal siged and saw something flash down into the sewer system. He picked up his autogun and slung it over his shoulder and attatched the Tau katana to his belt on his waist.

It was always amazing how fast word traveled in such largely populated places. Word was spreading around from the upper tiers to the lower sections of the Hive that Governor Sulla Amellius was hosting a ball. The reason for the extravagant occasion seemed to be the fact that the trade market was booming and there had been a discovery of some ruins. The origin of which were currently a mystery.
This seemed like the perfect opportunity to gather more information and possibly get close to the Governor. First things first Aelly needed to get a new look. She needed to find someone that might be attending the ball. Perhaps an arbites on security detail or maybe she should just replace an aristocrat.
So began the hunt for the right “key” to get into the ball. She surveyed passers by as she slowly strolled along the streets. Most of the people she looked over weren’t much better than the level of people she was already mixed in with. That is until she found a small market area.
The man had elegantly tailored clothes that shimmered with golden patterns with blue hues underneath. He wore highly shined black boots and walked with a cane though he didn’t seem to have trouble walking at all. The man was looking at some more clothes and accessories.
Grabbing a nice looking vest the man stood in front of a mirror that the vendor had leaning up against his little shop. He was holding it up to his chest when Aelly walked up from behind him.
“You’ll need something else to go with that vest. It just doesn’t look like it shows your taste on its own.” Her voice came out like sweet honey to a bee.
Smiling the man replied back while still facing the mirror with the vest held up. “What else do you suggest I get to go with it then?”
“Perhaps a nice shirt to go underneath it and me on your arm.”
The man smiled again and turned to face Aelly directly. To which she smiled back with a slight expression of confidence.
“That’s only if you’re attending the Governors ball and that you have dinner with me.” Aelly’s voice continued to entice the upper class gentleman and to her delight he nodded in acceptance of her offer.
That night Aelly played out her plan in full. She went to dinner with the man and had some very interesting conversations with him. His name was Marco Vinius and his trading company had recently started getting a lot of business. Thanks mostly to a back alley deal with another man named Gregor Tibus who was tied directly to one of the Governors chief aids.
After dinner they went back to Marco’s place for an after dinner drink. Marco showed Aelly around his expensive home and even flashed his invitation to assure the beautiful woman that he was going to the ball. At an opportune moment when Marco had gone to the bathroom the assassin slipped a poison tablet into his drink. Coming back into the main room with a smile on his face he was offered his glass by the calculating woman.
“How about we finish our drinks and see what else the night has in store for us?”
Aelly held up her glass and put it to her lips and began tipping it back while she watched as Marco downed his drink in one gulp. She set down her glass which still contained most of its content and sat back on the couch. Marco made his way over to the sensual woman and sat down next to her just as she got up and began working on the rest of her plan.
She pulled up the dress she was wearing to reveal a garter on her right leg. Looking back at Marco she could see her toxin beginning to take affect. He was moving slowly and looked almost sleepy. She smiled at him as she pulled out a voice recorded from under the garter and turned it off. Marco’s eyes widened both in shock and in realization of the events unfolding before him. Before he could make a sound or an effort to stop the woman he clutched his chest and collapsed on the couch.
“Looks like I’ll be going to the ball instead of you.”
Aelly continued to get herself prepared for the ball which included scanning and downloading all the files off Marco’s computer, using a dose of her polymorphine to assume Marco’s likeness then shoving Marco down the incinerator shoot, making sure she had all her weapons and finally waiting for the time to go to the ball.

It was time to get the hell out but first Dimitry would make it so knowone else could go snooping around. Walking over to the console Dimitry lifted his bolt pistol and empty'd his clip into it so that it was just a mess of wires and smoke.
"OK men regroup"
just as they fell back to the lift the lift doors opened.
"Freze Adeptus Arbites drop your weapons."

Zal drew his Tau sword and picked up an auto gun and ran after the man that had sashed into the sewers.
Meanwhile...
A large Tau command ship hovered in space above a large city planet located in the outer parts of the Tau empire. Half the ship was painted gold and the other was silver, everything else was black. All windows on it's sides glowed yellow as it turned. Tau Shas'O Commander taka stared out the large observasion window at the Tau planet below him. The planet was oceanic, except for several large islands that they have built outposts and cities on. Soon he would be leading his men to capture yet another planet for their empire.
