I love the Eisenhorn books, and the Gaunts Ghosts. But for heaven's sake, Abnett, stop using made up words in metaphors!
Another thing that bugs me. What solved your latest case, Eisenhorn, detective work or your fantastically impossible luck at discovering the most obscure, meaningless clues and leaping straight from them to a full theory? You must be related to Ibram 'oh great, my enemy slipped over instead of killing me' Gaunt.
And what's with all the technology? You'd think the Adeptus Mechanicus gave out anti-gravity units in packets of Tech Crunchies breakfast cereal or something.
